Summer Is Here

Looking Back and Looking Forward

Bridgeport Public Schools has had a very successful year in many ways. The staff have shown their commitment to education and   continue to work toward helping every child succeed.

Students have been successful at all levels.  From academic to extra-curricular and from elementary through high school students have shown progress. The teachers are constantly working toward helping students achieve and we appreciate their commitments.  Everyone should be proud of our staff which includes support staff, paraprofessionals, kitchen staff, bus drivers, custodians, substitute teachers and the many volunteers throughout the year.

As we look forward we see a school that is growing in population. We will be looking at adding classrooms and expanding our buildings. We will continue to address school improvement through teacher training and setting goals for success.

We see our school as a source of pride for the community.   The parents and community members are very involved in being a part of our school.

We want to thank our community for the support they have shown toward our school.

As we complete the school year in May, we encourage all students and parents to continue to make education a priority and encourage students to continue reading, searching for information, planning for future educational activities, participating in activities and clubs that will further their skills, and continue to have pride in being a part of Bridgeport Public Schools.

Good Luck through the summer.
