Girls’ golf team competes at Sidney Invite

On Thursday, August 30th, the Bridgeport girls’ golf team
traveled to Sidney to compete against 11 other teams.
Scottsbluff won the Invite with a score of 365. Other team
standings are as follows: Grant (2nd), 395; Sidney (3rd), 409;
Gering (4th), 428; Kimball (5th), 428; Alliance (6th), 450; and
Bridgeport (7th), 466.
McKenzie O’Connell of Sidney shot an 85, putting her in first
place. Individual scores for Bridgeport were Shannon A, 100; Emily
W, 114; Nicole H, 128; Taylor H, 124; Andrea G, 143.
The team was scheduled to compete yesterday, September 3 at
Chadron. Results of that meet will run next week.
