Girls Golf team tees off to earn fourth-place finish

The Bridgeport Girls Golf Team competed at the Chadron Invitational on September 5. With ten teams competing, the Bulldogs managed to place in the top five with a fourth-place finish. Senior Alecia H tied for ninth place overall with a first nine of 48, second nine of 51 and a total of 99. Other participants for the Bulldogs were as follows: junior Shannon A with a first nine of 54, second nine of 52 and a total of 106; sophomore Emily W with a first nine of 50, second nine of 51, and a total of 101; sophomore Nicole H with a first nine of 54, a second nine of 55, and a total 109; and freshman Taylor H with a first nine of 57, a second nine of 57, and a total 114. The team will compete at Kimball on September 16. Congratulations and Good Luck!
