Bulldog Volleyball captures 2nd place in Hershey

On Saturday, September 22nd, the Bulldog Volleyball team traveled to Hershey. Their first match was against the Gothenburg Swedes. Bridgeport won 25-16, 15-25, and 25-20. Courtney L led the team with 8 kills. Ashley V and Renae J followed with 6 each. Molly S had 18 set assists and 15 digs. Natalie H had 7 ace serves.
Next, Bridgeport took on the Ainsworth Bulldogs. Bridgeport won 25-23 and 25-15. Vergil led the team in kills with 8. Laux and Hadden followed with 6 each. Charlee W and Molly S each had 15 digs. Steer also had 18 set assists.
The last game of the day was against the Hershey Panthers. The Bulldogs lost a very intense game 11-25, 25-21, and 22-25. Hadden and Vergil had 7 kills each, while Jacobson had 5. Molly S had 19 set assists. Steer and Walleson each had 24 digs. Hadden also had 5 blocks, and Laux had 4 ace serves.
It was an exciting day of volleyball and the Bulldogs will be in action again on Tuesday and Thursday. Good luck!
