Bridgeport Bulldogs vs. Chadron Cardinals

The Bridgeport Bulldogs suffered another loss in the season, but they did not go out without a fight and ended the game with a final score 20-45. The boys had a rough start with only scoring 6 points in the first half. Later in the second half they were able to work hard and score 14 points. They also improved on their defense and did not let Chadron score in the 4th quarter.
Leading with the rushing yards were Jase D with 86, followed by Chance C with 32, Cory F with 3, Caleb W with 3, and Taylor C with 1.
Taylor C led with 6 passing yards followed by Jase D with 2 yards and Cory F with 1.
Good Job Bulldogs and good luck on Friday against Mitchell.
Junior High Stats
On Saturday September 22nd the Bridgeport Junior High “A” team traveled to Hemingford to play Gordon-Rushville. Bridgeport won with a score of 46-0.
Collin D and Nick P lead the team in rushing. Dan H had a touchdown pass to Collin A. Collin D also ran the 2nd half kick-off back for a touchdown. Defensive leaders were Josh H, Trevor B, and Colby S. The team as a whole played very well.
The “B” played on September 18th. They traveled to Hemingford to the Junior High School and lost 20-6. Collin A scored Bridgeport’s only touchdown. Defensibly Tyler F and Dawson H were Bridgeport’s leaders. Good job Junior High Bulldogs and good luck in your next game.
