Volleyball team hosts triangular and Saturday tournament

In the match against Potter-Dix in the Bridgeport Triangular, Bridgeport defeated Potter-Dix 25-22, 15-25, 25-15. Courtney L led the team in service points with 10, followed by Natalie H with eight, Molly S with five, Leicy F with four, and Ashley V with three. Hadden, Vergil, and Laux had seven kills each, while Molly S had 20 assists. Laux and Franklin had 3 ace serves each while Renae J had 16 digs.
In the match versus Morrill, Bridgeport beat the Lions 25-27, 25-12, 25-17. Franklin led the team in service points with 12, while Jacobson had 11, Laux eight, Vergil and Molly S with four each, and Hadden three. Hadden also had 2 solo blocks and led the team in kills with 12, while Molly S had 30 assists and 15 digs and Franklin had four ace serves.
The Bridgeport JV team was in action versus Morrill and won 25-16, 26-24.
On Saturday, Bridgeport hosted the Bridgeport Invite and beat Bayard in the first match 25-7 and 25-13. Hadden led the team with 9 service points and 7 kills. Vergil had eight service points while Molly S had five points, 17 assists and eight digs. Laux had four points, followed by Franklin with three and Jacobson with one.
Bridgeport lost the next match to Perkins County 24-26, 17-25. Vergil led the team with nine service points, six kills and 12 digs. Hadden had six service points while Laux had four and Molly S and Jacobson each had three. Molly S also had 14 assists.
In the final match of the day, Bridgeport lost to Leyton 25-11, 19-25, 14-25. Hadden led the team with 11 service points and 12 kills. Molly S had five points, 14 assists, 10 digs, and 2 solo blocks. Vergil and Laux each had four points followed by Franklin and Kendal H with one each.
