Michelle Stevens is the 5th grade teacher at Bridgeport Elementary. Michelle has been teaching for ten years, four years in Bridgeport and 6 years in Bayard and says her favorite thing about teaching 5th grade is, "The students at this age are very interesting. They usually have a lot to add to a classroom topic."
Fun Facts:Capture the flag or touch football was her favorite childhood game of choice. Mrs. Stevens was a cowgirl and participated in the Nebraska High School Rodeo Association where she traveled all over Nebraska. "I knew people from all over the state so when we went to a school activity I would know people my friends did not know and they always said do you know everyone?" Mrs. Stevens attended Chadron State College. Her favorite ice cream is the turtle sundae and her favorite color is red, she likes to golf, and she has a dog named Jayden.
Mrs. Stevens is the head coach of Jr. High volleyball and assistant coach of high school volleyball. she has two children, Ashley and Eric, and her husband's name is Tim. Her hobbies are helping her son and daughter with 4-H activities, helping on her dad's farm, and raising their own sheep.
