BHS volleyball team takes 2nd in WTC tourney

Congratulations to the BHS volleyball team for earning 2nd place in the WTC tournament held in Mitchell Saturday.
The team earned a win in the first match Bridgeport played in by sweeping Bayard in two sets 25-15, 25-11. In that match, Courtney L and Renae J led the team in kills with five. Molly S had 12 assists. Steer had 11 digs while Charlee W had 10. Natalie H had 3 solo blocks.
The next time Bridgeport took to the court, BHS swept Hemingford 25-15, 25-19.
Hadden had 11 kills; Steer had 24 assists and 14 digs while Wallesen checked in with 14 digs as well.
Gordon/Rushville got by Bridgeport in the championship match 21-25, 25-18, 25-21.
Ashley V led BHS in kills with 10; Steer had 28 assists and Wallesen had 21 digs.
