Fifth Grade Leadership Conference

Nine fifth grade students were chosen to attend the Fifth Grade Leadership Conference in Ogallala on Tuesday, October 23. The students chosen to attend were Taylor J, Stetson A, Peyton K, Dakota G, Juan G, Ivy V, Cassidy M, Megan D, And Trevor B. These students attended pullout sessions to learn about different characteristics that make a good leader. During these sessions, the students participated in activities and discussion about ethics, integrity, dealing with stress, resolving conflicts, and how to stay focused. During their lunch break a dance instructor taught them how to line dance.  The students had a great time and learned a lot about the different qualities that a person needs to be a positive leader.
