Every year the Bridgeport High School takes the 25th Dimension up to Scottsbluff to participate in the Old West Weekend Show Choir Festival. This year Bridgeport’s show consisted of: “Everybody Rejoice” from the musical Whiz, “Accidentally in Love” from the movie Shrek, “Ordinary Miracle” from the movie Charlotte's Web, and “Blue Skies” from the musical Betsy. The group has been practicing every Monday morning at 7:15 and during study hall hoping that this would be the year for them to receive a gold award at the competition.
Although the show choir didn’t receive the gold they were reaching for they were awarded with a silver. Titus K commented, “We worked together, practiced hard, didn’t give up, and performed with huge smiles on our faces. I really wanted a gold award this year since it’s my last, but I’m happy with the silver.” Molly S added, “We’ve worked really hard this year, and it was really fun to show the rest of the schools around the area that we can stick with them and we have something to offer.”
Congratulations 25th Dimension and Good Luck through the rest of the year.
