Satchell H Named Senior of the Month

The Bridgeport Lion’s Club and Bridgeport High School named Satchell H Senior of the Month for the month of November. Satchell is the daughter of Troy and Laura. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA during her high school career and is also ranked first in her class.
Throughout Satchell’s four years of high school, she has been very involved with activities in her school and community. Her time and energy has been spread thinly over her high school years participating in National Honor Society, One-Acts, FCCLA, Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, Art Club, Speech, Quiz Bowl, Spring Play, Student Council, helping out with Kids Club at the First Baptist Church, helping with Awana Club, swim team during the summers, and playing the piano.
Satchell enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends in her free time. Science and art classes rank first among her many classes she has taken each year. Satchell’s biggest accomplishments in high school were finishing her 100+ hour salt and sand Starry Night art project and placing first in Serious Prose at WTC Speech.
Satchell’s future plans are to attend Cedarville University in Ohio in the fall of 2008 and study to be a nurse.
