Bridgeport Bulldog boys defeat Garden County

The Bulldog Boys won against Garden County by a final score of
44-31. The boys start out strong and ended up with a quarter score
of 8-6. In the second quarter the boys stepped up their game even
more and pulled together to reach a halftime score of 25-13. In the
third quarter the boys only scored 5 while Garden County scored 7
but their good team work maintains them in the lead. What the boys
seemed to lack in the third quarter they regained in the last
quarter and ended the game 44-31.
The first quarter was highlighted by Jase Dean scoring 6 and Destry
Sterkel scoring 2. In the second quarter Dean scored four points
and Sterkel scored five as did Cory Faessler. During that same
period of the game, Steven Torres scored 3. In the final period
Sterkel scored 8 points to lead the team.
The Bridgeport JV boys won with a final score of 33-29. Pierce
Faessler scored 13, Junior Toscano with 8, Jake Asmus with 5, Mike
Beyer 4, Daniel Weborg 2, and Andy Post 1. Good Job Boys and good
luck in your next game against Bayard this Friday.
