Speech Team Wins!

Last Saturday, the Bridgeport Speech Team travelled to Alliance for their first meet of the year. Bridgeport started the year out with a win. Five different events placed, which earned Bridgeport the class C/D team sweepstakes plaque. The Oral Interpretation of Drama group, consisting of Katie V., Ashley L., Angela W., Jaicee P., and Titus K. lead the way with a 1st place finish. Titus K. also earned a first place medal in humorous prose with his interpretation of "The Real Story of Hansel and Gretel" by Vera Morris.
Also placing in Alliance were:
Ashley L.: 5th place in poetry, 5th place in informative
Shannon A: 4th place in persuasive
