Bridgeport Boys battle against Southeast

The game last Friday was an intense one against Southeast and won the game 47-44. In the first quarter Southeast had a ten point lead. With 1:06 minutes left in the quarter Cory F make a two point shot. After that with only 0:33 seconds Jase D made a shot and he made another again with only 0:02 seconds left in the quarter. With the hard work of the boys’ defense and offense they were able to end the first quarter with the score of 6-10.
In the second quarter of the game Jase D scored six points. He scored one three pointer and one two pointer with a foul shot. Cory F scored four points. Both Hardan K and Bryce D made two points. This ended the first half of the game with a score of 20-24.
In the second half of the game Cory F scored five points with a couple of two pointers and one foul shot. Both Hardan K and Jase D scored four points. Destry S also shot a two pointer. At the end of the third quarter the boys were able to obtain a three point lead and with the score 36-33.
In the final quarter Jase D and Destry S each made four points. Hardan K made three points with one two pointer and a foul shot. All of the boys worked hard and pushed to a well deserved victory and ending the game with a final score of 47-44.
Jase D contributed 18 points, Cory F made 11, Harden K made 10, Destry S made six, and Bryce D made two.
In the boys JV game the Bridgeport boys won with a final score of 58-44. Pierce F contributed 15 points. Jr. T contributed 14, Steven T and Nick R each made eight, Jake A made three points and Jaime G, Mike B, Andy P, Taylor M, and Daniel W all made two points. Good Job boys! Good luck this coming up weekend against Bayard and Kimball!
