Covalt, Cunningham, and Laux place at Chadron Wrestling Invite

Over the weekend the Bridgeport wrestling team traveled to Chadron for a two- day tournament. Chance H beat his first opponent by a pin in 5:55 and then losing the next two matches by an 8-10 decision and then a pin in :38. Nick L lost both matches by pins in :34 and in 2:15. AJ L lost both matches losing to pins in 1:39 and 2:15.
The first day Shane L lost his first match by a pin in 1:45. Then he won the next two matches by pins in 2:23 and in 4:20. The second day Shane lost his two matches by a 4-8 decision and a 7-9 decision, putting him in a 6th place finish for the 152 weight class.
On the first day, Taylor C won his only match of the day with a pin in 1:06. On the second day he won his first match with a 7-6 decision and lost the next match with a 10-13 decision, putting him in as the 2nd place finish in the 171 weight class.
Chance C on the first day won with a pin in :36, then losing to a 4-10 decision, then coming back with a pin in :57 to qualify for the next day. Chance won all of his next three matches, all with pins. Pins were made in 2:22, :33, and 1:50. He ended the weekend with a 3rd place finish for the 189 weight class.
