100th Day Celebration

by Melissa Krason

February 01, 2008

On Wednesday, January 30th, the Kindergarten-3rd graders celebrated the 100th day of school.  There were many activities throughout the day for the students.  There were tables lining the hallways to show off their 100th day projects.  There were "estimation stations" for the students to guess how many items were in each container-the winner in each room received a 100 Grand candy bar.  The finale was counting pennies that students brought to school (each student could bring 100 pennies) to fill Penny the Pig.  Wells Fargo Bank came to school and used their coin counter to see how many pennies were in the piggy bank..  The amount totaled $119.12.  Wells Fargo then matched that amount.  Way to go!!
