Speech Team Captures WTC Championship!

The Bridgeport speech team traveled to Morrill last week for Western Trails Conference action. The bulldogs won their fourth straight meet of the year and brought the WTC traveling trophy back to Bridgeport for another year. The Bulldogs placed first in an impressing five out of the eight events.
If speech statistics were taken like they are in competitive sports, the bulldogs' current record would be approximately 32-0 among class C and D teams in the area.
Individual Placing at WTC includes:
1st Place - OID - Katie V, Jaicee P, Angela W, Ashley L, Titus K
1st Place - Duet - Katie V and Titus K
1st Place - Persuasive - Kendal Hughes
1st Place - Serious Prose - Angela W
1st Place - Poetry - Ashley L
2nd Place - Humorous Prose - Valerie K
3rd Place - Informative - Ashley L
3rd Place - Extemp - Valerie K.
4th Place - Informative - Jaicee P
4th Place - Extemp - Shane L
5th Place - Informative - Leigh C
5th Place Persuasive - Shannon A
The bulldogs travel to Gering next weekend!
