Scholarship, character, leadership, and service are the factors that determine the induction of new members to the Court House and Jail Rock Chapter of the National Honor Society.
This year nine sophomores and one junior were inducted into NHS. The inductees are all highly qualified and have had nothing but high praise from all teachers and peers.
“I pledge myself to uphold the high purposes of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected. Striving in every way, by word and deed, to make its ideals the ideals of my school and of my life.” Doing as every member of NHS has done when inducted, the students that took this pledge this year were as follows: Junior Hanah Cunningham; sophomores: Bryce DeCora, Andrea Garza, Nicole Houston, Courtney Laux, Simonne Spurgeon, Manda Steer, Charlee Wallesen, Caleb Wiggins, and Emily Wright.
Being a part of NHS is a high honor and should not be taken lightly. The new members have shown great talent in the classrooms along with leadership and character in everyday life and we are very pleased to have them as members of Bridgeport’s National Honor Society. Congratulations and keep up the great work!
