Bridgeport Volleyball Falls To Leyton

On Thursday, October 2, the Lady Bulldogs played a scrappy match against the Leyton Warriors.
Courtney Laux led the team in kills with 13. Renae Jacobson followed right behind her with 12 kills. Ashley Stevens came away with 5 kills, while Molly Steer, Marissa Steer, and Manda Steer all had 4 kills. Marissa Steer led in defense with 18 digs. Molly Steer followed with 16 digs. Renae Jacobson had 10 digs. Courtney Laux and Ashley Stevens each had 9 digs. Alexa Lapaseotes popped up 7 digs. Manda Steer and Angelica Gonzales both had 6 digs. Charlee Wallesen came away with 3 digs, while Tess Hughes had 1 dig. Despite the intensity of the Bulldog team, the ladies were unable to seize the win.
