Welcome to Bridgeport Public Schools!
The goal that we strive for is that each and every student in Bridgeport Public Schools will have the same opportunity to be successful in academics, activities and athletics. The faculty and administration hope that you will take every advantage of the excellent education system that is in place for you. Your dedication and hard work will be rewarded with an education that will open doors to real-world experiences and will help you to become a successful citizen. We will make every attempt to recognize students’ individuality while each one of them helps the school to maintain the high standard of achievement and behavior that has been set by previous students at Bridgeport Public Schools.
I would like to welcome all of the new students to our school. Some
of you are moving up from one school building to another, while
some of you, like me are new to our community. I am confident that
our students will accept everyone for who they are and that we will
develop friendships that will last a lifetime. All of us at
Bridgeport Public Schools have high expectations. We consider
anything short of excellence in academics, technology, vocational
skills, activities, or athletics as unsatisfactory. We are all very
proud of past accomplishments, and the best way to show that pride,
is to continue to be the best!
