Girls Golf Places 1st in Conference

The Bridgeport girl’s golf team had their first meet August 27th
at the Bayard golf course which was also the girl’s conference
meet. The girl’s golf team won their conference and got second to
Chadron overall. E. Wright was the top golfer on the team and came
in with a 95. She also got 2nd in conference and 3rd overall. T.
Huck shot a 100 and got 5th in conference and 8th overall. A. Garza
received 8th in conference with a score of 116.
Coach Janicek stated after the meet,
“We had a good first meet; it was like a measuring stick to see
where we are at. We all have room for improvement, and hopefully
with a lot of hard work our scores will come down.”
