Bridgeport's One-Act Wins Western Trails

On Tuesday, the One-Act team traveled to Scottsbluff for Western Trails Conference action. The cast received first place from all three judges, dominating second place Gordon-Rushville by 18 points. The cast also received SEVENTEEN WTC All-Conference outstanding performance awards.
Western Trails All-Conference Team was awarded to: Simonne S, Nik C, Kevin H, Chance H, Courtney L, Laramie G, Payton H, Brandie W, Alyssa P, Kodi H, Tashina D, NormaJean R, Katie H, Gloria T, Janelle K, Beckie H, and Bryant V.
Simonne S. also walked away with the Western Trails Conference Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Medea. The WTC Best Actress Award is given to the most outstanding actress from all schools in competition.
The cast and crew will be working hard to prepare for their district competition on December 2 in Ogallala. Bridgeport performs at 2:15 p.m.
