Wrestling at Southeast Duals

On Saturday, February 6th, the wrestling team traveled to Southeast, WY to compete in the Southeast Duals. Below is the results and comments from Coach Johnson regarding the competition.
SOUTHEAST DUALS
In the first dual Bridgeport lost to an outstanding Chadron team by the score of 63-10. Although the Bulldogs were outmatched by a more experienced Chadron team, Chance H, Dan H, and Collin D picked up key wins. Bridgeport defeated a short-handed Morrill squad in the second round 54-12. There were only two contested matches and Dan and Collin won both by pins. In the third round Bridgeport lost to Southeast 36-34. Bridgeport then defeated Hemingford 42-24 before losing to Lingle in the final dual 45-28. This was a good setup for districts with Chance H finishing 5-0 on the day and Dan, Nicholas L, Collin and Brent H all ending 4-1.
