Boys and Books

On Friday, January 20th, Bridgeport Elementary invited all adult males who impact the lives of the students in Bridgeport Elementary to spend 30 minutes and read a book in the kindergarten through 6th grade classrooms. We had a terrific turnout, with dads, older brothers, uncles, high school boys, etc. coming into the classrooms and reading books to the students. Coach Broz' basketball team took a "timeout" Friday morning to help with this event as well. The students enjoyed the visitors and the male leaders enjoyed a little time out of their day to spend reading to the youth in Bridgeport. Click on the link below to view photos of the event. A big THANK YOU goes out to the male role models who came to Bridgeport Elementary and made this event a success!
